Fresh Baby Cooper

Well now, who doesn't love a fresh baby?!

Especially when they are snoozing and swathed in a completely decadent australian muslin baby wrap by Aden + Anais. These softer-than-a-baby's-bottom fabric sheaths are the best for everything from swaddling to nursing to snuggling. Plus, they have a lovely texture that really adds depth in photographs. (I, of course, already have mine stocked and ready for Baby Blencoe's arrival this June!).

Who's That Girl?!

So, last night I had a rare night out on the town (a preggo momma of a 3-year-old rarely does, i guess!) with my girl, Jen Mageau of Miss Pickles Press, as we gussied ourselves up to hob nob with the best of Atlanta's wedding industry at The Knot's Wedding Industry Mixer! No, I was not able to actually ingest any real mixers, but it was a fun night nonetheless.

Great atmosphere, great design (go Miss Pickles go!), yummy eats, collecting business cards and, may I say, some rather excellent Shirley Temples mixed for yours truly by the W Hotel bartenders. Aside from all that fabulousness though, was the high point of the evening...donning a curly black wig (among other things) inside the ShutterBooth photo booth for some real Kodak moments! Check out the priceless embarrassing moments below for yourself.

Brides: If you can swing having one of these at your reception, I highly recommend it!

Bride in Bloom

Spent a lovely afternoon this weekend photographing Courtney and Jonathan on-location at Hills and Dales Estate in LaGrange, GA...one of my very favorite spots. Courtney and Jonathan are set to be married on May 23...and what a lovely couple with such a sweet electricity that is oh-so-apparent between them. Courtney did a fantastic job during her candid bridal session...very open with her expressions and totally had fun with it. SO wish I could show more of her amazing bridals, but we can't let the dress be seen, now can we?! Here are just a few of my favorites...enjoy!

Oh, Blog...Sweet Blog! Where have you been my whole career?!

I've been meaning to start you up for a while now, but, ever the procrastinator, I have eluded you. Or, was it you eluding me? Anyway, here we are finally...together now for all to see. And see they shall...why we'll show the masses all the wonderful elements of my photography boutique...my favorite sun-soaked afternoon light, that eventual hint of a smile on a camera-shy child, the occasional bridezillas (j/k! don't have any of those!), unguarded moody moments (always my faves!), and of course, all those fun-loving couples and families I get to know documenting weddings. Plus oodles and oodles of the exquisite custom books, frames, etc. as well as all-things-photographic that I come across on a daily basis in this industry.

So, grab a coffee and plug in your power cord, this is gonna be fun!
